Re: When did you stop working?
I took off 6 weeks before I was due, but that was only because we moved out of state and I had no other choice LOL If we never moved, I would have probably worked right up to my due date. However it turned out for the best as the doc put me on modified bed rest and I would have been forced to take off early.

Re: When did you stop working?
With ds#1 I was taken off of work a month early because of preterm later and I worked an hour and a half from my doc/hospital. He was then 4 days late!
With ds#2 I worked right up to the friday before delivery. I was scheduled to come in Monday but my water broke Sunday night! With ds#3 I went into labor at work on Monday stayed that whole day but left 15 minutes early cause the contractions were coming about 5-7 minutes apart. Had the baby that night. I would say do what you feel is best for you. With ds#3 I worked 5 minutes if that from my house and only 2-3 minutes from the hospital so I wasn't worried at all. If you are totally uncomfortable and think its best for your baby for you to stop working then stop working. Talk to your dr about it and see what he/she thinks.

Re: When did you stop working?
I'm a SAHM this pg, but with my first pg I stopped working at 36 weeks because I wanted some time off to relax and do last minute stuff to get ready for the baby. I thought I was going to have a month off, but she decided to come 2 weeks early so I'm glad I stopped work at 36 weeks!

Re: When did you stop working?
Still working 36 hours in the ER and am due tomm
I feel great though so I am lucky enough to keep going. I just started in June so the longer I work the more earned time I get and the more money I can put away.

Re: When did you stop working?
With my dd I worked until the day I had her. I was up all night having contractions and was getting ready to go to work when my water broke. I decided I'd better call dh rather than go to work!
With ds, I quit my job when I was 6 months preggo.

Re: When did you stop working?
With DD1, I think I quit a couple weeks before she was born. She was 2 months early though. I was showing signs of pre-e, so I decided it was better to quit. I did end up delivering early so it was a good choice!
With this pregnancy, I won't be working at all, so it's not an issue.

Re: When did you stop working?
Well, I only worked w/ DS1 and I was in college taking 15 hours on campus two times a week. So the other three days I was substitute teaching and quit that job at about 36 weeks. I went to school until I was 39 weeks and had DS at 41 weeks

Re: When did you stop working?
With DD#1, I worked right up until the night I went into labor.
With DD#2, I am 36 weeks 3 days today and still working. DH is a SAHD right now and the longer I work, the more $ I can save up since I will be only getting 60% of my normal pay when on maternity leave for 6 weeks.
