so if you can try to fix the protein issue first so you can have a "normal" labor not a managed one.

I was going to say the same thing , water and protein like crazy ! You may still be able to get that under control and have a VBAC , I really hope you can and I know you need to prepare yourself for another section but don't give up hope yet . EVBACLV

Good luck mama! Do a search on here for tips on getting labor going! Try the pressure points on the inside of the ankle, just do a deep massage on the whole area when you hit the right spot it will be tender press on it.

I got over there and after 5 hours he decided that my bp was going down enough to wait. He did strip my membranes, in hopes that this week I will go into labor.

We scheduled a c-section for Friday at 2pm, tho. Basically he said Im getting pre-e again, and doent want to wait too long and end up with an emergency c-section. So, unless I go into labor on my own this week I will end up with a c-section on friday. I am just PRAYING that I will go into labor somehow this week! I do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT want a c-section, but if its for the best then its ok. Ugh, recovery is just SOOOO terrible! And....if I have this c-sec, it means I can never have a vaginal birth unless I do a home birth (which just isnt an option for us...im too freaked out with all the probs I have...plus we live pretty far from a hospital)

So just PRAY that I go into labor! I am 1cm at this point, and having contractions (enough they were registering on the monitor) and am cramping REALLY badly from him stripping me...so maybe....just maybe I can still have my VBAC. *sigh* I dont have much hope, tho.

Please send me labor dust and lots of prayers and thoughts this week!!!

I just had a successful VBAC 2 weeks ago and will pray you get yours. I was able to hold the docs off, but they were pressuring me to have another section, I did not however have problems with my blood pressure this time around either. Are you only 36 weeks? They shouldn't be even contemplating a c-section unless they thing it is serious, it is too early. I would question that and go in for non stress tests as often as I could and if I had to have an emergency c-section so be it, but to schedule this early just sounds off unless your bp was off the charts or something.

Re: So much for a VBAC....

Oh, I walked around Target for an hour and a half and stocked up on stuff the night before I went into labor too, don't know if that will help or not.
