What Detergent and where??

I've read several different detergents on here from Allen's to Seventh.. Where do you get it??

What is best??

I don't think what I am using is good because I have several stains.. Is that from not using good detergent?

TIA!

I use Charlie's Soap @ sunshinediapers.com

If you buy one bag at regular price, you get the second bag 30% off and free priority shipping (on one bag or two). One bag does 80 loads!

I use SUN and get it at Walmart. Have you tried sunning for the stains?

Charlie Soap from www.charliesoap.com . LOVE IT, it works great, and it's really cheap since I only use a little bit.

I use SUN from Walmart too for dipes. If I am out then I will use my seventh generation free and clear on them.

I would try sunning them for the stains. Some stains take several washes to get out from my experience if you don't sun. lol Even with the best detergent you can still have a stubborn stain.

This is a great link for detergents: http://www.pinstripesandpolkadots.co...entchoices.htm She's added onto it since I've seen it last. We use Windfresh/Sam's brand. $10 for 40lb at Sam's Club.

Re: What Detergent and where??

It seems like I have tried so many things. Our latest was Sportswash from the hunting section at Walmart. It worked great, but DS was sensitive to it and got a pretty bad rash.

Today, I finally broke down and bought some Charlie's Soap from www.charliesoap.com. It was $21 for a gallon and pump and shipping, but it should last me a year. I have read and heard many raves for it, so I hope it works for us!

I use Allen's, but I think it kind of stinks in an unscented kind of way, KWIM? I've read lots of raves for Charlie's Soap on other boards, so if my Allen's EVER runs out, I'll probably try it.

Re: What Detergent and where??

Charlie's soap is awesome!! I use it on all our laundry. Charlie's soap has a referral program, where the person who referred you get's a free bag of soap. So, if anyone is thinking about ordering some soon, I'd love it if you would use me as a referral. Since we use it for all our laundry, we go through it quicker than most. If I get referred, I'll pass your name onto the next person...we should start a referral chain

From www.charliesoap.com:
"Right now, if you order any of our products and then recommend our site to a friend, all that person has to do is put your name in the "Comments/Referrals" Box on the order form when they place their order and you will receive a FREE Gift Box of Laundry Powder."

Thanks ladies!!
