Question EEEWWW The smells!

I can't stand the smell of my house, my kids, my car and I really cant stand the smell of the diaper pail. Will this last the hole pregnancy or just the first 12 weeks. I don't remember smells smelling this bad last 2 times.

I hope it doesn't last the whole pregnancy and passes soon for you.

Ewww yeah I forgot about that. The smell of ds's poop really bothered me! I almost hurled every time I changed his diaper. DH was on diaper duty whenever he was home, LOL! I think there are still some smells that seem really strong to me, but for the most part it went away by 16-18 weeks or so, probably earlier. I hope it passes soon for you, too!!

During my pregnancy, I couldn't stand the smell of turkey being cooked... There was something else, too. But it lasted the entire pregnancy. Sorry!

I can't stand the smells in the kitchen. Every time the fridge is opened I gag. This happened last 3 times too and I remember it lasting quite awhile. I don't think it was the whole pregnancy(I hope not!). The kitchen just takes on a whole smell of its own when I'm pregnant.

I am with you mama!! MAN! EVERY smell is intensified!!! It is awful! From what I can remember, this sticks with me the entire pregnancy, but at first everything seems worse.

Re: EEEWWW The smells!

I don't remember it being bad with my first two but this time, the only thing I can't stand the smell of is... a baby! Just one particular baby that I babysit. Isn't that awful? I open the bags of breastmilk to feed her and I gag, she spits up on me and I gag, her poopy diapers really make me gag, a fresh diaper makes me gag (they do Pampers and they are SO perfumey to start with!), whatever her mom puts in her hair to stick it in a tiny ponytail makes me gag, whatever lotion they use on her makes me gag. You get the picture. I can't even stand to hold her longer than it takes to feed her. I know this makes me sound horrible but this poor kid's smell just really doesn't agree with me!
