Too early to test? (feeling symtoms)

I had my last perioud Aug 8, and have been actively TTC since then. I have a short cycle, so I ovulate sooner than most (probably ovulated 9 days ago) and I already FEEL pregnant. I feel just like I did with my daughter-- nauseous at night, but some during the day and sooooo tired. Is it possible to have symptoms this soon at something like 9 dpo? I'm not even sure when I ovulated. Is it too early to test??? I waited longer to test with my first, yet I feel now like I did several weeks into my last pregnancy. I feel awful and I don't think I'm sick. Pregnancy nausea just *feels* different.

Any adivce/input would be great. My hubby is so cut and dry. He told me to by a test, but I don't want to waste my money if it's too soon. Did anyone else test this soon?

If you did O 9 day's ago then you could try testing now , some get enough HCG to read that early ( I did at 7 DPO ) and some don't , but I am a POAS addict so I would be testing lol . Good luck !

Re: Too early to test? (feeling symptoms)

I had early symptoms with all my pregnancies. With my first DD we had gone to Gatlinburg, TN on vacation with my mom and dad. ALL I could do was SLEEP! I missed the WHOLE trip b/c I was sleeping..LOL! My BBs were really sore too. That gave me the first inkling something was up. I have no clue when I O'ed though b/c we weren't "trying". But I do know it was a few days before AF was due. With DD #2 I had symptoms start around 8 DPO...I got a BFP at 10 DPO with her. I just had a BFP at 7 DPO a few days ago. I had the nausea, sore BBs, and was sooo tired. Sadly the little bean didn't stick though.
But you can definitely have early preggo symptoms! Just remember that is you are feeling symptoms then you'll be able to get a BFP soon if it's from PG!!!

Good luck and BFP vibes!!!

I think the earliest tests can detect pregnancy 4-5 days before a missed period. If you are already in that time then go ahead and test. Do you chart? It might help you figure out when you O if you don't already. GL!

So, did you test?????

(With this little one I tested positive, although it was a line only visible to women, at 8 dpo!)

Re: Too early to test? (feeling symtoms)

lots of women test positive at 9dpo... personally, i didnt test positive until 13dpo... had a bfn at 12dpo. But if i would have taken a digi at 12dpo, i think i would have gotten a bfp.
