Your favorite cover...

....for toddlers (DS is 21months). We're going to FL to visit my parents and when we're home, he's usually coverless in a pf. My mom will have a fit if he gets pee on her carpet or furniture . He can easily take aplix off, but it seems like that's all that's out there. Anyway, I need the best deal for the best cover! Someone help --- we leave for vacation on Sept. 17 and I don't want to be doing laundry constantly while we're there (we only have 17-18 other diapers for him)!!!

My dd is 18months and I love her Thirsties and Wonderwraps. THe thirsties is very thin so its nice under clothes. I have had no leaks with either! Good luck!

Motherease Air Flows are really hard to get off. They can be wiped out between changes, so you don't need as many. They last forever too. They allow air circulation and they really prevent leaks.

Re: Your favorite cover...

There are mixed reviews on gdipes as covers but almost all positive. Just thinking if you are only using them to keep the relatives happy they are supposed to be wonderful stuffed with a prefold. The pocket is an open pocket so it's quite different from like fuzzi bunz. They fasten backwards so it's harder for little hands to open them... You can buy them or look at them in a Whole Foods if you have one. Ours was 19.99 for the starter which is two covers plus two extra snap in liners and 10 disposable stuffers. You can get it online for 26.99 and there are probably a few on fsot for less maybe.

New to cd'ing so I"m going by what I've read...

We love Thirsties covers! My DD is younger than your son, but she is newly walking and these covers seem to work the best for us.

I like our BSWW! Our Proraps also do very well, and are very cheap ($7.00 new) if you don't want to invest that much.

Re: Your favorite cover...

great thread! i too am looking for some travel covers for dd. i like my ME AF ok (that is all i have ever used) but its time to size up and i am thinking of switching to wool (all over fitteds). but, we travel a good bit in the car and i want something with no risk of compression wicking/leaking. and i want something just a little cuter than MEAF i was thinking a couple wonderwraps, because then i can use them for future dc for the same purpose.

77triciaj...what do you think of the wonderwraps? also, dd is 7 mo, 18 lbs and thighs too chubby for the mEAF meds, so should i save the $ and just buy a big size in the thirsties?

thanks mamas!

ETA...just realized both WW and thirsties are aplix...i think i would prefer snaps...any suggestions?

Re: Your favorite cover...

I'm not cd'ing a toddler yet, but my favorite cover is tallulahbaby, they fit great, are trim, and come in snaps or aplix. Also, she's got such cute prints!
