Re: Whats for dinner?

Pork chops in the crock pot with cream of mushroom soup, mashed potatoes, asparagus and corn on the cob. Also, fruit salad with fruit from locally grown farms!

Can we say "Yummy"!! Could I get that Spinach Artichoke dip recipe?

Here we are having Lasagna Roll ups, salad and bread. Pretty boring. Couldn't come up with a vegie. May finish off the sweet potato fries I made at lunch tho.

Re: Whats for dinner?

I needed something quick! So, Chicken breasts, can of celery soup on top. Then I had red potatoes and corn from the garden to use... Boiled the corn, and the red potatoes were tossed in olive oil and some fresh parsley (i love this garden stuff! lol), then some garlic. baked... yummy and EASY!

Kinda boring, but I came home at 4:30 and was too tired for something special

Do you just throw chicken breasts in the crockpot with a jar of salsa?

Re: Whats for dinner?

Tonight we are having our favorite pasta dish.

1 lb ground meat (we use venison as dd2 is allergic to beef)
1 jar Newman's Own Sockarooni Pasta Sauce
1 package crumbled feta (we use goat feta as dd2 also has a dairy allergy)
1 package whole grain pasta (rotini is our fave)

Boil a large pot of water and dump in the pasta.
Cook ground meat and when it is cooked through, dump the pasta sauce in and bring to a simmer.
Pour the feta into the sauce and stir until all cheese is melted.
Drain the pasta and pour it into the sauce.
Stir well.
Serve.

Re: Whats for dinner?

We're having pancakes and scrambled eggs because the only meat I have is frozen chicken and I'm not in the mood to defrost it. I need to go grocery shopping!
