Do your Kegels. It will help. And it will really help after the baby gets here.

Re: Bladder control issues
Very common and very annoying. Wear a pad if you have a cold while pregnant because the sudden, unexpected coughing and sneezing will be the end of you. If it doesn't get better by your post-partum appointment, talk to your ob about it. There are various options - medications, women's physical therapy, kegels, kegels combined with vaginal weights, and surgery - which can improve the situation.
For me, it got worse with each pregnancy. This is my last child, and I will be seeing a specialist in urogynecology after the baby is born. I notice that many obgyn's say that they treat this, but based on my own instinct and the casual advice of a urogynecologist whom I know socially, I want to cut to the chase and see an expert.

Re: Bladder control issues
I am 6 month pregnant also, and this happens to me. Sometimes I don't even have to cough or sneeze! I guess the baby is doing some jumping on my bladder ! I invested in some pads to wear, but I guess I need to be doing the kegel exercises also.
But, you aren't experiencing it alone!

Re: Bladder control issues
I'm only 11 weeks, but since the beginning, whenever I throw up, I throw up so hard that I pee my pants! I know its not the same, but just as embarrassing. I wear a pad when I'm in public in case I start to throw up, then I'm not dealing with that AND wet pants!
