Re: coloring

For cheap coloring books, I get all of mine at the dollar store.

Having learned my lesson, we stick to paper. It's hard to break writing on the walls. However I totally agree, we recycle all papers and especially school papers. They are used for drawing.

If you have any newspapers in town, you can stop by and ask them if they will let you have the end of the rolls. They are usually 3+ ft and make the BEST big drawing pads. My local one saves them for me for girl scouts and for home.

Re: coloring

I don't have any new suggestions, but we have a printing press here that sells all their end rolls. You can get three feet wide and like 50 feet long for about $3 or $5 depending on how long. Sometimes even for free! They advertise it in the local free paper in the classifieds when they have it.

our public library always has great coloring sheets, for free. also check their recycling bins...usually they won't mind you taking it. kinkos usually has tons of recycled paper too.
