Pictures--absolutely necessary? Negotiable?

I'm just curious.

I have a whole TON of diapers I need to sell, but my camera is in my boyfriend's car, and by the time I get it, it will be about time for him to pick up his daughter from daycare, and I just don't see myself getting any pictures taken while I am making sure Katerina doesn't beat the crap out of my son! (Don't worry, she is only 18 mos. old, so does not really understand that she is being mean when she pushes him or takes toys from him--she also gives him lots of kisses and pats his head and says 'ay-ay'.)

I am planning on selling them really cheaply because I want to get rid of them in one fell swoop, some of them have BF poo stains, and they need to be stripped. They are good stuff -- Swaddlebees, Kozy soaker, Itty Bitty Knitties, some other wool...

I understand if mamas want pictures when they become available, but as buyers, would you even PM me with interest if my prices were SUPER LOW, I had what you needed, and have lots of positive feedback? Just curious...

TIA

for me, i need pictures, i don't like to go off just description because people have different ideas of condition, the pictures save everyone the hassle of surprise once the package arrives

I'm the same. I won't buy without seeing them, and most of the time...if a thread says "pics to come", I don't even read it.

I only buy unused (as per DH) so if the item is sold as "unused" by someone with excellent fb, I'll buy it without a pic because it's pretty obvious when it comes if it's not, kwim?

In your situation, pics are mandatory. Sorry!

OT, but why do you have a BF whose kid beats up yours?

Without pictures I just move on to the next. I also don't click on links to albums or anything unless I REALLY need what's for sale. I just don't have the time especially when there are so many items on FSOT that have clear and easy to read ads... So I'd wait if I were you.

Well, I explained briefly in my post, but she is 18 mos, and my son is 12 mos. She's still figuring out this whole "sharing" thing, so she will push him away from a toy she wants (usually a walker or the little music table he got for his birthday recently), or sometimes just randomly shove him onto the floor, or sometimes she'll try to stop him from crawling by pushing his butt onto the floor so she can play "peekaboo" with him. She gives him lots of kisses too, so I don't think she dislikes him, she's just too young to understand that she is hurting him when she pushes him.

We're working on it... trying to help her figure out that pushing hurts Jed and taking toys from him is not nice, etc. Watching her is incredibly labor-intensive because I have to follow her around the entire time to keep her from taking toys from Jed before she does it... we have two walkers in the apartment, but she will drop hers and take whichever one Jed is using--even though she can walk! It is hard not to get frustrated with her sometimes! But I think persistence and patience will work.. last night she actually gave something of his back when I asked her to, for the first time, and I showered her with praise & hugs & stuff, so hopefully we're already on our way there.

at that age is hard, i totally understand where you stand hope things get better with sharing and being nice to each other but cant expect that overnight.

i always get my son to timeout if he hurts one of his sibling and give him time to think what he did etc like that then when says sorry i make him to hug one of sibling who he hurted or any kind of behavior that i dint approve

I've bought without pictures twice recently. Two different mamas answered an ISO that I had for bb trainers. Both offered to take pictures if I needed them, but since both were very reputable WAHMs, I totally trusted them when they said 'EUC/Like New', etc.

I do ignore FSOT listings without photos though.
