I've heard such rave reviews about wwb, that I was considering getting some. I saw on the website about the snap in sleeve, but it didn't give much of a description...do you just fold a prefold in the sleeve and snap the whole thing out when it's wet then replace it with a new one? Is the sleeve made of fleece? ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: can someone explain to me how the snap in sleeve on a wiggleworm bottoms cover wo
nak
i haven't used wwb, but used this sort of system with heavenly hineys. yes, pocket (sleeve) is two pieces of fleece sewn together. you stuff with insert and snap (don't really need to snap them, just laying in works fine and is less work) them into cover. when insert wet take out and replace with new sleeve/insert. i use inserts like for pocket diapers but can use prefolds, too. i think wwb gives you choice of what sleeve is made of - fleece, suedecloth.

I was one of her testers for the sleeve. I liked it. It's a neat idea. It's pretty much as you described. It's a fleece pocket that you put an insert in and snap into the cover. When it's wet, you can replace it with a new sleeve.

They come with fleece, suede or panne (crushed velvet) inner linings and sleeves.
I have a new lg for sale here http://www.diaperswappers.com/forum/...ad.php?t=17300 Even if you are not interested there is a good picture of the sold ones with the snap in sleeves lying next to them to give a better idea. I really like these, but had a lot and mainly use them at night. The prefold does make them kind of bulky for doing the day. They also are great covers without the sleeve. |
