Did you carry extremely low? If so was your baby born early?

I am carring very low according to my ultrasound. They said the baby looks good but are ordering another ultrasound in about 2-3 weeks. They also said that I don't have plecenta privia and if I don't have it now that I won't. So I keep wondering if this means I'll deliver way too early?

Re: Did you carry extremely low? If so was your baby born early?

I thought I carried really low my first pregnancy (and she was head down the whole time) and she was 3 days LATE.

2nd pregnancy I carried our daughter even lower, which I didn't think was possible. She seemed to move around more, but in general was head down. She was 2 days early.

I always carry very low.

My babies were 37w (c/s), 39w, and 40w1d.

I don't think there is a correlation between carrying low and going early. That's just my thought though!

Re: Did you carry extremely low? If so was your baby born early?

I carried REALLY low my entire pregnancy (sometimes made for funny looking belly shots LOL). DD came late (induced, too!). However, I DID drop, dilate, and efface really early (starting at 32-34 weeks).

Well my baby is sideways left to right, right now but I've got pleanty of time for him/her to turn. It just feels so weird when he/she kicks b/c it's so low.

Nope, it does not increase your chances of going early. I carried all three of my boys very low - my first was born 5 days after his due date, second was 2 days before, third was 10 days before.

I carried high both times and didn't drop until labor started. My first daughter was 1 day late, my second daughter was 6 weeks early.

I carried very low with DD from about 24 weeks onwards. She was also in posterior position which made for a heck of a lot more painful movements too....ouchy!

She came 10 days before her due date.
