Re: What can I do? Anything??

I agree with all the other mamas I have a "slow" utertus. I have started labor with all my kiddos, but then I labor off and on for a week, no jokes, VERY VERY slowly dialating. Luckily I have used midwives and so they have not tried to interfere with my bodies process. So, sex has always been helpful and nipple stim is great too. All those things the moms said. Your body does not want that little one there forever

I agree wait and let your body do what it knows to do. Unless, medical reason of course.

Also, remember LOTS and LOTs of H20! you want it to be the real deal and when you are having contractions to work! Also, from experience dont get so wrapped up in getting here to forget to rest, I am horrible about that!

Good luck mama

Re: What can I do? Anything??

my fear was an induction or c-section. so i was terrified that i wasn't making any progress. finally the day before i delivered i started feeling contractions. the day i started having contractions i had a dr. app. at 5 with no progress. i started contracting at 9. by 3 the next day i was 5cm. but here's what dh and i did. we took an hour or longer walk every night starting at 36 weeks. we had sex everynight starting at 37w. i drank lots and lots of water and red raspberry tea. i also listened to calming music at night and just focused on the baby and the birth. don't know which one worked. or if any of it worked. but i had my baby and i was able to birth him without being induced.

Re: What can I do? Anything??

Thank you for all the advice mamas!

I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm going to ask about due dates, induction, etc. and see if we can just "check up" that everything is fine before doing anything.
