Re: How did you carry? And what (gender) did you have?

with my son, i carried mid to low but was all out front like a basketball shape, in fact at 38 weeks i still had a noticeable waist and hips, and had quite a few surprised looks from strangers when i turned around b/c i didn't look pregnant from behind

with my daughter, i carried mid to high, but was wide, almost watermelon shaped and had no waist or hips by week 12 !!! and i most definitely looked pregnant from behind LOL

i was the same weight at the start of each pregnancy, so i was a "controlled study" ha ha ha

I carried both similarly (high & out front). One boy, one girl.

Re: How did you carry? And what (gender) did you have?

I've had one low and one high and both were girls. I think it all has to do with where the baby implanted, how tall you are and how large/small you are. I carried very different with both my PGs. I carried high with my first baby and was VERY uncomfortable the whole time. She was a breech baby the whole time though. My second baby was middle/low and I barely new I was preggo until the very end, (a whole 35 weeks..LOL). I didn't show much with her either. She was a head down baby. So I don't really think that the way you carry has anything to do with gender, but the way the baby lays, height, and weight of mama...LOL..and baby too I guess!

Re: How did you carry? And what (gender) did you have?

in my experience this has never been a true indicator of gender of baby...reason being, i look like i am carrying high at times because #1 I have just eaten (your stomach is mashed up in there somewhere so this does affect how your baby belly looks at times...)

or #2 I am tired and my back muscles don't support things as well (in the evenings mostly)

when I wake up in the AM, I look low....

this has been different for every single one of my pg's!!

Some are higher, some are lower.

And alot of it has to do with how good your abdominal muscles were previous to pg, the position of the baby in referrence to the placenta.....

I'ts not an indicator of gender, sorry
