Oh my! That is hugely inappropriate. I used to be a real estate agent and I would never had said anything to a client like that. I've been in houses where you are stepping over dog poop because the owners had their dogs paper trained. If that house can sell, your house with a diaper pail will sell.

Just how does he think a pail smells with disposables in it anyway? Like roses?

How stupid
When I used to use sposies I felt sooo bad about how my baby's room smelled. I didn't take the garbage out every day, but should have for his sanity.

Now, the room never smells bad.

I think you should change to sposies two days before his next visit and make SURE he gets a good wiff of the "special" ones you saved just for him!

That is the silliest thing I've ever heard!!! (both the agent & his wife!)

My dds room always smelled "funky" when we used sposies, with a diaper genie & with the diaper champ. Those darn things are supposed to lock in smells..yeah right! I use a flip top lid garbage can now with a pail liner....NO SMELLS! And downstairs doesnt reek of "poopy diaper in the kitchen garbage" anymore either! I have a small can that sits right next to me in our office here (seriously its maybe 2ft away) and I have never smelled it, even after 3 days of dipes on wash day!

Get a new agent!!!

Absolutely insane! We used sposies for 2 weeks while my parents visited...even using the Diaper Genie it smelled WAY worse than the cloth diapers ever do. You opened the door and you would just get hit with this awful pee/chemical smell

As for you being young and giving in to your kids. I'm 32 and use cloth. I'm not really considered "young" anymore.
