Anyhow, if it's any comfort, make sure you're getting lots of Vitamin C - that can help strengthen your membranes.
if i had a dollar for every person that's ever said that to me...

my dates weren't off, i was charting and had an early ultrasound which confirmed my due date to the day. we just make big babies, my husband was huge and i wasn't tiny at birth either.

but, on a good note, i get lots of vitamin C, which i'll definitely keep up with.

Re: Do you fear going into labor too early?

My water broke at 32w and I delivered at 34w and had pre-term labor beginning at 24w so yes, I fear it. I am terrified of it, especially since I'll be working this time around and on my feet a lot. I just have to trust that my 34weeker did very well and she only spent a short time in the NICU so even if we get another preemie, we can handle it. And hopefully we'll make it to the third trimester without any ptl.

Re: Do you fear going into labor too early?

I worry every day because the risk is there every day. Dh and I also make big babies together, this one is already estimated to be 4 lbs at 31 weeks, so who knows how big she'll be if she makes it to term. I'm afraid to walk every time I need to (even to the bathroom), for fear my previa will give - and every contraction now I worry that it will force the previa to give. My cervix is already beginning to shorten, and the doc and nurses say that it's probably because I make big babies that my body is thinking that she's done! Who knows. All I know is I feel ya, mama, and right there with you!

Re: Do you fear going into labor too early?

i worry everyday frm when i wake up and get out of bed.
the biggest thing for me is how far i am away from my dr and going into labor because i am scheduled for a c/s, i don't think my body would handle a baby trying to come out..
