Whoa! Babyology sizing?

I ordered a large based on the website, but it looks HUGE. ??? Here it is next to a BB just for comparison... I know it has to be bigger to fit over fitteds, but this seems a bit ridiculous.

Also, it's a little itchy. :-/ Does that go away once you wash it?

It does look big. I've seen them on fsot with the top folded down and they didn't look as big.

Is that a large BB? My dd wears large BBs and I was thinking about getting a babyology.

No, it's a medium BB... DD wears mediums in all of her diapers. I bought a large Babyology because the website says large fits 20-30 pounds and DD is about 22. I'll have to try it on her when she wakes up from her nap, and fold down the waist to see if that helps.

Hmmm my dd is about 22 lbs too but the med BBs were too small, but she wears a med in just about everything else. Funny how the same dipes can fit each baby so differently.

Update after you try it on her.

Hmmmmmmm... that BB is brand new and I haven't tried it on her yet. All of my other BBs are OS, but I just assumed M would fit in SS since that's what she normally wears. Thanks for reminding me to try it on her before I go and wash them all!

Re: Whoa! Babyology sizing?

Well, DD is 14.5 lbs and still fits easily into a small.

I did get her a medium, but I haven't tried it on her, yet. I only use them for nighttime since they're so bulky, so it's not a huge deal if it looks funny.

It will get softer once you wash and lanolize it.

HTH!

I have to keep the BB OS on the highest rise. When I got her med BB the waist was fine. I think it was the rise that was the problem, it made the thighs too tight because it didn't go high enough, if that makes sense. She has to have larges in the BB minky dipes too. I do love all my BB dipes, imo they just run smaller than other brands.
