Need help with diapers

my dd will be 3 in 1mth. She is not showing any signs of PLing anytime soon. I sold most my stash a few weeks ago because i was in DIRE need of some $$ for something that came up. What i have right now is 18 pfs, 4 dappi pullon covers, 1 bsww cover, 1 thirsties cover, and some misc wool covers (nothing extravagant). I don't mind using the pfs...they fit her well. But she is just soo dang wiggly and hates diaper changes that it's just aggravating trying to put them on now. So i've been using lots of sposies lately My question is...do you think it would be worth buying a set of BG or something similar? She really doesn't go thru alot of dipes everyday...maybe like 6-7 of them. OR should i just get some cheap fitteds and put my dappi pullons over them? Just stick with the pfs? Just use sposies? The main problem is i just don't really have the funds to buy anything. I would have to try and sell some things to gather the PP funds.

i asked this question on the diaperchatter a couple days ago but thought i'd ask my thrifty mamas what they think.

I say go with the fitteds....look around on FSOT and see if you can buy a set of good fitteds for cheap I couldn't imagine using PF's everyday....my wiggle worm doesn't do well w/them at all. Or even better, see if someone will do a trade with you for some fitteds

There's a pf coop on DT w/ ATD fitteds pretty cheap.

I wouldn't buy BG for a kiddo so close to the end of the size range, for the sake of cost effectiveness. If you want something other than pfs or covers, I'd suggest Daisy Doodles (w/ hemp soakers). Again, there's a Diaper Traders coop going on (30% off on the white suedecloth inners, solid outers). You could get by w/ fewer AI2s than pockets, just get extra snap-in soakers to change out. My one-yr-old has only gotten poop on the shell once. You could squeeze by w/ 2 shells a day even, using your pfs/covers for night, naps and back up. The DD fit nicely under clothes too, even jeans!

do daisy doodles work well? i've heard some not so good things about them leaking and stuff. As for diapertraders...i can't get on there. I was told by whoever over there they were gonna reset my password but i've never heard anything else about it

haha i put an ISO for cheap fitteds on here and got tons of PMs Everyone must be wanting to unload some cheap fitteds I need to figure out which ones i want....and some stuff to sell to make up the PP to my checkbook

Also, what I do is type 5ppd or 6ppd into the searchbox on here and it brings up some good cheap diapers sometimes!
