Question Do you ever....

Put you DC in a sposie for the day or a few hours so you can wash your entire stash and take inventory?

I'm thinking I need to do this so I can see everything all together and decided what/if I need still.

I think I need some more wool to go with the fitteds I have or vice versa. I need to decide if I need more inserts for the pockets I have, or do I need more pockets to go with inserts. Should I get some more AIO's, etc.

Phew! CDing is like having a job!

I've done it to strip diapers. But I could've put her in a prefold, they might still actually fit if I try the twisty fold.

Also at night until I get some different inserts to try for the perfect nighttime combo.

Nah--I usually just put him in a prefold when I do that. When I first started cding I would use sposies for "stripping" days. But, now that I have prefolds, I just throw him in a prefold and a snappi and strip away, LOL!

I do this when I wash her covers, I use PF so I always have enough of those but never enough covers. So when I need to wash them all I put her in a sposie for a little while. Luckily they dry fast and she has a CD back on in no time. Important at our house since DD is very sensitive to the sposies. Sometimes I let her go with just a PF, no cover, but that can be a bad idea at the wrong time.

I don't have any sposies or know what size he would be in. I did earlier this year and he broke out in a rash within minutes.

We just go nakie if we need to wash everything...

although this last time I tried to stuff them all in the wash, it seemed like maybe 2 loads would be a better plan anyway!

Re: Do you ever....

I did this the other night after he got a rash from a long car ride in cloth. We drove 6 hours and even though I did 2 diaper changes, he got a bit red so he wore a 'sposie over night... and rash all gone.

(BTW, we're moving on the 29th!)
