washing soda & simple green

1st i want to say i'm soooooooooo happy DS is back up and running!!
what is the wash routine when using washing soda and simple green? can this be used every time you wash or just every once in a while?

I use it every time. I've had no stink issues, I've had repelling but I don't think its from the sg and ws I think its from drying them in the dryer and ti having fabric softner residue and we ahve super hard water.

but what I do is a pre rinse or soak (we are catchign all our poos now so I don't ahve to soak as much) I put in 1/4 cup ws and 5 squirts of sg in on the heavy cycle and then do one extra rinse. Sometimes I will put in some vinigar and sometimes I will put in some Calgon but again I have super super hard water. But that is it. Never any stink issues at all.

I use 1/4c washing soda and 10 squirts of simple green on the largest load size. I also presoak dipes first on cold. I also use calgon every few washes to strip dipes & havent had any issues yet.

If there are lots of really raunchy poopies, I'll do a cold soak for a little while just to loosen things up. Then run a hot wash/cold rinse with 1/4 cup of washing soda and 4-5 squirts of simple green. Sometimes I run an extra cold rinse just to be sure but I've never had any problems...I think I just do that because everyone else seems to do an extra rinse. I use the ws/sg every load. Good luck!
