For those of you who chart temps...

what day past ovulation did you take your test? I'm at day 45 in this month, and I think 13 days past o. Would you wait or just take the test?

Re: For those of you who chart temps...

Well, at about 11 dpo, it seems like many of us PAOS-aholics start getting positives, by 13 dpo, I personally would be ABSOLUTELY sure, since my luteal phase is only 12 days, LOL!!!

Although....if you are 13 dpo, and on cd 45, that measn you did not O until day 32? Is that correct? I'm just asking because that is unusual, and *can* be a sign of infertiltiy, since such a late O is almost certain NOT to produce a good egg.....???....although I see you have an infant, is there nursing involved?

Re: For those of you who chart temps...

I'd have tested about 5 times by where you're at! LOL I always start testing at 8/9 DPO (I've started getting BFP's then for 3 out of 4 pregnancies, too).

Re: For those of you who chart temps...

I am tandem nursing my almost 3 yr old and 9 month old. In fact my 9 month old has only just barely started solids . I have only had 2 pp periods so far. I have always been like clockwork 29-31 days. So 45 days is really strange for me. My temps have been up around 98+ for the last 13 days. I had just kindof figured that this was an unovalatory(sp?) cycle at first, but my dh has been telling me for the last week that I'm preggo and dd's have been praying for a new baby sister since they heard dh say this! Now I'm really starting to wonder! I guess I'll just take the test tomorrow morning. I kindof hope it's a BFP .

Re: For those of you who chart temps...

Yeah, I took the test. Now I'm more confused than ever! It came up negative, but I wondered if I saw a second line. I went back to bed and woke up a few hours later, looked and there was a very faint, thin blue line. This was definately past the 2-10min time, but didn't look grey like an evaporation line. Also, I'm not really sure if I'm 15dpo or 10dpo. This is only my 2nd chart in a year and a half, and I had only done about 6 charts before that! Not much experience!
