Procrastinators Unite Part 2

I am only 24 wks so I have a lot to do:

Trade in the SUV for a van (Novemberish)
Put hardwood floors down in the living room/hall
Touch-up paint the house
Repaint the girls' room
Clean the carpets
Get crib from Mom's house and set it up
Paint playroom, soon-to-be nursery
Complete diaper stash
Get a few warm blankets and bunting bag things (January baby)
Buy 0-6mo baby clothes!
Wash and organize the clothes I buy
Find a changing table or configure a changing station
Clean the packn'play
Buy some more baby bedding, I only have the bumper
Get carseat
^Install it
Find a book for DH about being involved in the birth
Find a NAME for the baby

That's all I can think of.

Ugh, I didn't get crap done today. At least the baby's got diapers and a crib. *sigh*

It's ok mama, keep going!! You're getting there!

-- I got the hospital bag packed for me and baby... gave DH a list to put in his I don't think the painting or rug is going to get done for a few more weeks since we had a few big bills to pay this week... I'll have to work on the smaller stuff. We're still unpacking from the move (we just bought our house!) so that's been a constant project too

Today is not a very productive baby-day here My list is dwindling and I did get the hospital bags packed, but today is more a homemaker day... I made brownies, DH's lunch, etc... I think a nap is in my cards today

J called me a crazy woman for taking the rocker upstairs myself.

I get to order my birth tub tomorrow!
We will also be buying our other supplies this weekend.
I figure I'll probably put the car seat back in the van in the next few days too.

Still waiting to get the rest of my baby clothes from my friend. Her hubby is in the Navy and they're getting ready to move to VA, so she should be shipping it by next Tues.

I'm hoping to get the blanket I'm knitting up finished, but that will just depend on how much longer the baby stays put.

I need to fix the gown that I made.. need to make the arm holes a little bigger.

I called the birthing center today to schedule a tour and pre-register. They don't pre-register!!!! You're MW/OB sends over your information and you're done! tours are every wednesday at 1030. So...next wednesday, that is where I will be! I also found a family clinic and they head doctor is a DO and the 3 under her are all chiropractic physicians!!!! So I need to schedule an appt to see if they will take us and the new baby when he is born (as well as my other 3 hoodlums). The lady said they would but of course I have to interview them. I'm very optimistic.

Still need to do....
1) wash diapers
2) buy more clothes for DS
3) have sex
4) start making RRL tea
5) remember to take my EPO
6) have sex
7) sit on my arse
8) buy some bon bons
9) have sex....

I can cross a three hour glucose test off my list now I have no idea if I passed yet, but I survived it, LOL!

I spent a little time getting some arrangements worked out for my older kids, but I didn't get very far. Life got in the way

Way to go ladies! I found out this morning that staying busy has it's price. I was POSITIVE today was Thursday and DH was like no... Friday. I lost, and I am feeling like I also lost a day somewhere this week Between being sick and staying busy and not getting any "normal" sleep, it's not surprising...

Just updating my list!!!

Preregister at Hospital
Talk to HR about disability and FMLA
Install carseat - have it checked by FD or PD <--- hubby to do tomorrow
Wash the used dipes I've bought.
Get something for dirty dipes - still can't decide on bag or pail!
Go on a date with hubby.
Buy things off our registry that we need but didn't get.
Take maternity portraits (yeah, I'm going to try to do my own!)
Finish up a list of things at work so I'll feel at peace when I go out.
Buy and install closet door for nursery.
Buy and install curtain rod for nursery.
Have hubby build a shelf for nursery.
Make a few more meals for the freezer (yay! My mom made some and is bringing them to us this weekend!) <---probably won't be doing anymore myself...
Clean - living room, kitchen, dining room, bathrooms (mom might help with that this weekend too!)
Pack the hospital bags!!!
Finish the "who to call" list.
Go to work everyday m-f until I have baby. <---I was taken out of work effective today! I've been put on "couch potato" status - not quite bedrest !

1) Buy a nice infant carseat

2) Buy some more infant and 0/3mth clothes, hats, booties, nursing pads....

3) Read my natural birthing book

4) Do maternity shoot pics (sept 29th, wooohoo!)

5) Pre-register at hospital

6) Buy some disp diapers/wipes

7) Figure out what I need for myself (BFing wise)

8) Buy baby book

9) Set up baby swing

Geez....I thought I'd have more I was way busier when pg with DD around this time. LOL
