Just a couple more updates!

Preregister at Hospital <---Filled out the form - will drop it off tomorrow when I take in my 24 hour urine...
Talk to HR about disability and FMLA
Install carseat <---did that tonight and it wasn't as hard as we thought it'd be so we aren't going to the check thing tomorrow.
Wash the used dipes I've bought.
Get something for dirty dipes - still can't decide on bag or pail!
Go on a date with hubby.
Buy things off our registry that we need but didn't get.
Take maternity portraits (yeah, I'm going to try to do my own!)
Finish up a list of things at work so I'll feel at peace when I go out.
Buy and install closet door for nursery.
Buy and install curtain rod for nursery.
Have hubby build a shelf for nursery.
Make a few more meals for the freezer (yay! My mom made some and is bringing them to us this weekend!) <---probably won't be doing anymore myself...
Clean - living room, kitchen, dining room, bathrooms (mom might help with that this weekend too!)
Pack the hospital bags!!!
Finish the "who to call" list.
Go to work everyday m-f until I have baby. <---I was taken out of work effective today! I've been put on "couch potato" status - not quite bedrest !

Finish washing and sorting baby clothes
Put all NB/small clothes in dresser
Finish sewing the crib set
Get cosleeper set up
Buy some nursing bras and nursing pads
Hem up some flannel wipes
Wash covers to bouncy and carseat and put both back together
Wash NB stash
Finish organizing closets and craft room
Install carseat
Pack hospital bag
Make some freezer meals, or at very least a detailed menu/shopping list for DH (went with the list, but hey, DH can cook! )
Gently remind DH to shampoo upstairs carpets, esp the nursery
Make baby announcement list
Make backup babysitter arrangements for toddler
Pack toddler's overnight bag

It's getting there! I also deep cleaned the kitchen and half the living room today. Hopefully I can get most of the rest of the list knocked out this weekend, sometime in between soccer and Cub Scouts.

Re: Procrastinators Unite Part 2

Today I took care of 70% of the LO's xmas presents. He's getting a few wool/tee sets in small sizes.

Other than that, I was a bum. I've been so tired lately not to mention not feeling up to par with allergies/sick/etc.

I did oogle at a diaper bag on HC for a while, does that count for anything? I'm still debating buying it

Complete nb/small stash
Buy a storage container for dipes
Buy a pack n play
Sterilize baby bottles

Sterilize nipples/rings
Buy a bassinet
Make a baby registry
Sell older vehicle
Buy and set up crib and mattress

Buy a carseat
Buy the house
Install Carseat into vehicle

Paint Baby's Room
Buy a rug for baby's room
Prep all dipes
Get wool wash and lanolin

Get trash can and pail liner for dirty dipes
Get breastpump
Clean Bassinet sheets
Pack 3 hospital bags (me, DH, baby)

Preregister at the hospital
Find that darn bassinet pad
Call Simplicity since they recalled my darn crib so they can come do the repair

xmas: It hasn't even registered with me that I have to do christmas this year for MY kid I don't have any wool for her yet - maybe I could ask a grandma (or each of them) to make her a pair since she certainly won't need toys or clothes!

crib: I've had everyone and their brother asking me about our crib to make sure we heard the news ...luckily ours isn't even that brand!

Hopefully today I can get hubby to help me hang the curtain rod and curtain and then I can FINALLY take some pics of the nursery... I've been waiting for stuff to be up on the wall before I take pics!

Thank you...I'm still fighting for Jiacobbe (which is the American version of Giacobbe - Italian) In Italian it means Jacob. I think I am just going to have to concede to Jacobbe and call it where it is.

(for those wondering it is Jah-coh-bee)

I lost my fight when we were doing girl names (before we knew it was a boy) I loooooved Amelie (french for Amelia) . DH made it to Amelia, but wouldn't budge any more my way. Thank God its a boy

Ooooh, and my update. I did nothing today. BUT I can't do much more on my list till I stock up on pp (trying to at least, I need to wagon myself) and we have the baby shower on Oct. 7th (so I can see if there are any more big supplies to grab up before he gets here).

I'm calling Simplicity tomorrow, and if I can't find the bassinet pad I think I might just invest in a co-sleeper if we get any kind of gift cards from the shower
