baby shower time....

ok dumb question but lets say youre having/hosting a baby shower on a Saturday-- you want to make the time afternoonish and have BBQ sandwhiches as the main food---

what would be a good time to say the shower starts?

i was thinking 4ish, but is that too late in the afternoon?

I personally like 4ish. My automatic thought is always 2ish...but 2ish is a big pain to me. Someone is always napping, etc...

I would say 2pm but also check in with the mama that you're throwing it for to make sure it works for her (unless it's a surprise). 4pm sounds like of late, for those who have kiddies at home, becuase they always tends to run long...

Id say between 2-3 for the start, that way people have eaten and dont expect TOO much. Snack time really That way you can focus on the mama rather than the food!

Good luck on the shower, let us know how it went!!
