Re: Whos nursing a toddler(s)?

Thanks for bringing up manners.....I always think of her as my baby and realize now that if I say "please don't Zoey, it hurts momma" she needs to listen. Usually she goes for my nose when I move her hands away from the other breast.
Has anyone used a nursing necklace? Someone mentioned it when they saw her stripping me & I said I'd check into it.

Re: Whos nursing a toddler(s)?

Still nursing my almost 25 month old. I love doing it but lately she is getting SOOO demanding. I nurse 4-5 times a day some days and at least once during the night. She would nurse all the time if I would let her. It's funny. My husband was rather hesitant at first when I told him I was goign to let her self wean. He wasn't sure about the idea of letting a toddler nurse. Now, sometimes I will tell Linnea not now if she has nursed a lot and I need to get something done or just need a break. He's the one that will say, "Just nurse her. It's good for her." I love my husband.

Yes, me! Claire is 27 months and nurses probably 2x per day (before nap & bed).

Re: Whos nursing a toddler(s)?

Tharen is 21 months and still going. Though he has dropped to 4-6 times a day. Down from every 30 mins for the first 6 months (I didn't sleep much). He still wakes once at night. IF we are busy he nurses less, jsut hanging around the house way more (sometimes more like 20 times a day for a few minutes each time). toddlers are crazy nursers cause they dont' go on any kind of scheduel. I nursed Kearnan till he weaned at about 2.5yrs while I was pregnant. I don't plan on being pregnant any time soon so who knows when Tharen will stop. He calls it "this" and grabs at me. He knows what he wants.
