cheap alternative to freezer Thin Mints?

I'm looking to find a mini-chocolate indulgence to have each day. Right now, I am having 3 Girl-Scout Thin Mints every once in a while. I keep them in the freezer and they taste so good and probably stay fresher since I don't eat them very quickly. Now that I'm running out, I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. Having a candy bar 2 or 3 times a week is nearly $2. I'm sure someone can come up with a mini-dessert that you can take out individual servings as you want them. They need to keep for a long time (that's why the freezer is good.) Homemade is preferable.

Check out the candy section @ the dollar general-they might have some cheap thin mints. If not, heres some homemade ones (recipes):
http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/001370.html
http://www.chowhound.com/topics/284106

you could prob make a bunch and freeze them. Mmmmmm and homemade choc thin mint ice-cream:

HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE THIN MINT ICE CREAM

3 quarts whole milk
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 cup sugar
1 pkg. white chocolate instant pudding
3/4 tube of thin mint cookies
Rock salt
Ice

Mix all ingredients but salt and ice. Put into the container and close it tightly. Put this container into a larger one and add a mixture of ice and salt in layers. Turn it, shake, rattle, or roll it until ice cream is frozen. Quit and let it sit for a few minutes to freeze up completely. Then enjoy.

Recipe can be made in ice cream maker, two Ziplocs (1 quart and 1 gallon), or two coffee cans (1 1-lb. can and 1 3-lb. can. Recipe makes one recipe for ice cream maker, three recipes for Ziplocs, or two recipes for the coffee cans.

Since it's halloween buy a big bag of teh chocolate candy in the fun size i htink is what they are. They are the huge bags that you usually use for trick or treaters. They are like $5 but if you freeze them and only eat 1 or 2 at a time then they would last forever.

Can you freeze chocolate bars? That would be great, but I thought it might change the flavor or something.

They taste the same and go on sale at Safeway/Vons for $2 per package and I see coupons for them sometimes, too.
