Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

Since I just started with this site(more importantly the FSOT here)my mailman must think I've totally lost it. We've gone from almost no mail to lots and lots in not a lot of time

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

I think my mailman hates me ;-) I have to stack my packages on our brick wall by the driveway for him to pick up and he has to get out of his truck almost every day.

Most of my fluff comes UPS or FedEx and my UPS guy always acts like he hates his job. Weiner.

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

My mailman knows that I'm a WAHM so he understands. He always brings my packages right to my door. Its funny to see him walking to the door with his nose up my packages when I get oils for my tarts and stuff, lol. But I've told him that I run a home business so he pretty much expects that I'll get at least 1 package per day (but usually and almost ALWAYS more.)

Luckily I don't get as many packages as I'd like to. lol But I do get it quite often. I never see my mailman, though.

This post reminds me I need to go check my mail! lol

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

DD gave my mailman a cookie yesterday, so I think we're okay for now

Seriously though, our neighbor runs a Passion Parties business, so I think my mail (quantity and content) is comparatively mild

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

We have a PO Box, there is no home delivery there. Every day we walk down tot the post office with our outgoign, and everyday we see the window lady for our incoming. She's great! The other day we had 7 (yikes!!!) packages, and when she saw me she was like, you hit the jackpot today

She didn't ask at firts what I was doing with so many outgoign and ingoing packages, but one day she got brave. I happened to be shipping a bunch of mama cloth that day lol

She loves seeing the stuff we get, adn I've shown her stuff beofre I packaged it--she's really cool!

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

My mailman is humored by it...most of the time. Once he asked to borrow my wagon It used to be just just November/December and August that a ton of packages arrive (Christmas and dd's birthday) but with this pregnancy it's been on going. Plus with the swaps I do, I actually warned him on Saturday that I was expecting several packages from the swap this week. If I tell him I will be away fo the weekend he will either hide my boxes or save them for me.

Our sub is a giant male reproductive organ. He will not deliver a package unless he has the route for a few days in a row. He'll save them for our usual mailman. If I have a package to send and didn't schedule pick up he won't take it (my regular guy always does).

Our old mailman looked like the unibomber ~ scary!

Re: What do you think your mailman thinks?

Our usual mail lady is really nice. She'll ring my doorbell if she had to leave it on the porch instead of in the box (she has a walking route). I felt SO bad for her when it was so hot here this week. She never says anything to me about all the packages, though.
LOL, I went into the P.O. to ship a skein of yarn once - the guy there is really nice and he said "An ear of corn?" after he felt my package (that sounded nice). LOL, I laughed at him and said "No, it's actually yarn" and then he caught himself and said "Well, it's really none of my business" LOL, I suppose it could have been something DIFFERENT shaped like an ear of corn, LOL. That would have been a really big one, though!
