Re: What do you (or your LO) call nursing?

dd says she wants nursing, or asks for a nipple. she had the word nipple down before nursing.

guess that doesn't work for "discreet".

My son (9 months two weeks) calls it "num-nums" and sometimes yells "Mama boo-boos!" when he's starving.

I say mommy's nursies or num-nums. But, I'm sure he'll just end up saying something like "boobies!!" cause my dh will hand him to me in the a.m and say "look bud, it's the boobies!!"

Do you mean it sounds like "new-new"???

That's what we called it in my family. My brother (I was 16 when he was born, so I remember the time well) used to say, "Mama new-new me!!!"

It was sooooo sweet...

Re: What do you (or your LO) call nursing?

my little one...just turned two...in the past has always called it "nee-nee"...I think that derived from him saying that he "needed it". Sometimes he still calls it that, but lately has been saying "mama juice"! Everything in a cup to him is "appa juice" (apple juice), so now I have "mama juice".

Love this idea! It's called milkies in this house--but I never liked that. I like snuggling better.

My first two called it boobie. My ds3 who is still nursing has started calling it "bop" It can be pretty funny when he wants to nurse and I am busy and tell him "mommy will bop you in just a minute!"

Re: What do you (or your LO) call nursing?

I call it "titty" ...got that from the midwives and it stuck

my dh calls it "momma time" or "titty"

my daughter signs milk and says "titty!!" discrete? not at all
but I NIP with her still too if it is needed.
