Haven't finished reading all the responses yet, but I did want to comment on this one. I had to be induced due to pre-eclampsia with my son, and made it through a wonderful, painless 6 hour labor with the Bradley method. I didn't even feel transition. By the time the nurses came in to check on me, I was already 9cms!

My DH was wonderful and the Bradley class that we took saved our lives.

Birth balls are wonderful things, too. I was (apparently) on it through transition, and like I said, I didn't even feel it!

Re: Planning a natural childbirth

Thanks for that link!

Oh -the eggplant parmesean - I've heard that about eggplant in general - there is an italian restaurant in GA somewhere that says if you are within a week or two of delivery or over your due date and you eat their eggplant dish and don't go into labor within so many days (only 1 or 2 if I remember right) then they will refund you the price of your meal!

But I've never tried it!

Do they still have eggplant parmesan? LOL, not to hijack the thread, but I'll remember that later once they would be safe to come out but doc won't intervene, LOL

Re: Planning a natural childbirth

Sorry to temporarily hyjack this thread, but I have a question about the Evening Primrose Oil.
From what I have been reading, it sounds like you should take capsules by mouth 2 times daily, and also insert them directly into the vagina?
Is that right?
I would be concerned about possible infection...but I'm a bit too paranoid at times. Am I reading right or is there another form of EPO that you use vaginally?

Thanks!
