Question lanolizing with Lanisoh?

How do you lanolize a wool cover with a product like Lanisoh?

Does it work as well as using a product made especially for lanolizing dipe covers?

What?? You can use Lanisoh, the breastfeeding cream, to lanolize wool?? Yeah!! I have a huge tube that I never use, and have been wondering what to do with it. I just bought my first wool covers/soakers off FSOT.

I've heard it works just as good but you may not get that yummy scent.

I just add my favorite lavender baby wash to it, leaves a light and lovely scent.

Re: lanolizing with Lanisoh?

We use it for our wool covers. We put a bit of it in HOT water and a few drops of soap to soften the lanolin. Then I mix it in warm water in the sink and soak my covers. It works really well!

Yeah, that's how you do it! I used lanisoh until I ran out, then tried the lanolin balm (that Amy from Cottontail Baby gave a free sample of to me! Thanks, mama! )
I really love the balm best now because it's not sticky at all, you can put it on a dry cover, and it keeps such a wonderful smell in the wool. You can't get it at the grocery store like lanisoh, though
