I was about 9 weeks with my first, and about 11-12 weeks with second one. I just bought a Babycom doppler and used that..it works really nicely!

I'm VERY plus-size, and have heard it at 10 weeks no problem both pregnancies, but apparently that is on the early side a a bit rare, my midwife said that my uterus might just be tilted perfectly to get it that early.
