Reasons that your milk supply my dwindle??

Ok DD is 11mo and I just noticed last night at her 3am feeding that she didn't suckle much, got no letdown on my right side. But letdown on the left. Same thing the pther 2 times she nursed today. It just "feels" less full. Is this just another stage where you get milk or more efficent? If that is possible??
I am just worried. I am drinking tons of water.

My milk went down before AF finally returned (at 16 mos pp). Could that be it? I also noticed this month (only second month of AF) that milk went down again the week or so before it was due. I started the fenugreek and oatmeal again and it seems like it came back up.

My guess would be that you're either getting close to ovulation or your period. Other reasons would be stress, dehydration, lack of sleep...or that your child is going through a "phase" I had a couple times my milk went down and then my little one started nursing more and I went through the whole engorgement thing again!

Just don't drink TOO much water, because there is such a thing as too much water being bad.

Just because you don't feel letdown doesn't mean milk's not coming out- also as your baby eats more her milk needs lessen but trust your body- it is amazing hw well it adjust without you doing anything

Good to know ...I could be doing a gear to O or AF...I have had one 36days ago and that was my first PPAF so I am guessing O is more likely for me rightnow
Thank you ladies!

if you have a let down on one side but not the other I rack that up to something being piched. get your back cracked. do some stretches, a massage by hubby tonight. I have had that happen so many times after wearing a sling pouch and simple stretches where I crack my back makes it all better in a few hours to a day max.

at least try that. or a chiro visit...
