Where do I sell this??

My DH is a hobbyist. He picks up different hobbies every year. Last year, he got into making necklaces with beads and stuff. I'd like to sell some of them, but not sure if that should go in the WAHM Wares forum, or somewhere else.

He's also making diapers. But he's not a WAHM. He has a full time job. Should those go in the WAHM forum since they're home-made, or just one of the diaper FSOT forums?

Re: Where do I sell this??

My mom made a few things for me to sell this time last year and I tried to sell them as a WAHM--but was told because they weren't my products they weren't sure if they fit in (but this was last year--it could have been clarified by now). Since then I've learned to make them myself.. but am interested in this outcome as well..

Hmm. I am interested to see what people say. I think right now there are some WAHM's selling wooden toys that are made by DH (or both of them together). I personally do not see why it should be a problem. But that is just my opinion.

I'm willing to bet some WAHM's also have work outside the home just like your DH.

I'll have to check in for the verdict on this one!

ETA: Can he share your user ID or would he need his own? Are we gender specific here because I think DS should be for moms AND dads.

Good point!

I certainly dont' think if your DH is a WOHD a WAHD... or if a momma is a WOHMm or WAHM it makes any kind of difference.

Well, I tried to post it in the WAHM section and I guess you need special permission. It wouldn't let me post. So I posted it in the For Mom & Dad section.

PM admin for access to the WAHM section, Men are welcome to register and post here on DS by the way so if he wants his own name that's fine.

I made a mistake, don't PM... go to usercp, then group memberships, and apply through there

He'll need to use his own ID. The forum AND the WAHM forum are open to dads as well, so long as they are a part of the community like everyone else The name is sort of limiting, but just think of it as work at home man lol

The thing about selling something that is made by another is that gets into retailing and the premise is to support those who handcraft items themselves
