wool doublers??
Okay...i have been seing wool doublers, and i got to thinking....could i just go to goodwill, get a wool sweater for a couple bucks, cut it up, and use it?? Would this not work for some reason? I don't have a serger, or even a sew machine i can work...but i can handsew....should i sew a couple layers together?

Re: wool doublers??
I'd think it'd work great! At least I have a few wool doublers I got when I bought wool soakers from recycled sweaters and they work fine.
If the wool is very thin, I'd do 2 layers. HTH
