How long after you started nesting did you deliver?? Just curious as I am currently taking a break from cleaning my entire house...

a few weeks with dd but she had to be induced. with this little guy, ive been nesting for mths

Continuous doesn't count...lol!!! I was hoping for a much shorter time frame. I never nested with my girls so this is new to me...

Yeah - I nested a lot too. The strongest was probably for about 2 weeks before (but I also had to be induced).

With DD1 I nested pretty much the whole time, ridding the house of every spec of dust and organizing. With this pregnancy it was actually my first symptom and started before I even got the BFP. I was vacuuming and dusting the pantry, something I hadn't done since I was pregnant last time, and I stopped and went, wait, where is this compulsion coming from?

And it really is a compulsion! This time I tore all my craft stuff apart in the laundry room to declutter and make room for other stuff when the fatigue took over, so now my laundry room is trashed!

Oh, but I did get a last burst of energy and got a TON of stuff done about two days before I went into labor with DD.

Hey I like this answer...I can definitely do 2 days. I have been cleaning things like my quadra ionic breeze and the vents in the house, The walls in the bathrooms. Just very odd quirky places.

my mom nested BIG time, and then took a shower, i dropped, and she had me later that day

(of course, i was pretty early, and pretty tiny compared to an "average sized baby")

I'm 36.3 and he is already around 8 lbs...if not over. I have been in a lot of pain today, nauseous, and crampy in addition to the cleaning everything in sight. In between reading posts I'm cleaning my desk too...it's that bad. I'm so NOT a neat freak.

forgive me, but yikes, 8 lbs! Its sooo hard for me to picture newborns that size because my baby sister was 3lbs12oz when she was born, and thats the only actual brand NEWborn i've been around

(i was 4lbs7oz, my mom has tiny babies, lol)
