Diaper Swappers

Hello everyone!
I am soooo new to DS. Not even sure what I am doing here. My "stash" is pretty complete but then again you can NVER have enough cloth diapers. Smile.
We (that would be me, Tanja, 28, Air Force wife and SAHM to Jonas, born 12/27/2006 and Will, active duty Air Force and 26) clothdiaper Jonas since day 2 when we got home from the hospital and never had regrets.
On top of "just cloth diapering" I am one of "those" moms. AP that would be. Not militant or anything and I realy did not know there was a name to the style of parenting I practice untill I moved to the US. My country of origin is Germany and I moved to the US about 5 years ago and then on my way back home I met my husband while visiting Las Vegas. What can I say? 10 days of vacation turned into marriage and having Jonas. Laugh
On Myspace some moms in my mommy and CD groups are talking a lot about DS. So I was just thinking that it can't hurt to check it out myselfe.
Maybee I meet some moms who are likeminded in my area.
As of now (that might change) I do not make my own diapers. No time! To busy running my in home daycare and taking care of the big baby (hubby). I am sure lots of moms can relate to the big baby thing. Does everyones husband thinks that the kitchen is self cleaning and that dirty laundry magicly washes and folds it self?...

Welcome! I'm fairly new too and I'm also one of "those" moms. I didn't intend to be, it just happened.

Watch out! Just when you think your stash is complete the mamas on here rave about something they've tried and it makes you want to buy, buy, buy!

Oh, I am sure my stash will never be completed. As long as Will thinks we are done for now everything is good. I just bought 23 new FB and am done for eternity in his eyes... Laugh
Do you, by any chance, have an idea how to mak the signature picture show up next to the username? Myspace is easyer.
Are the groups on here any good?
So many questions...

A few things for you since you are new here:
I know that all the acronyms and abbreviations can be confusing, so I just updated the abbreviations sticky that is located at the top of the Diaper Chatter page here is a link

Also if you need help with something that is quite common here try to do a search, for example if you need help with stripping then go to the Diaper Chatter page and at the top of where the threads start look at the right and you will see something that says 'search this forum" this will allow you to type in stripping and you will see all the threads that had anything to do with stripping! It can be a great way to get a lot of information and not have to wait for people to answer you!

If someone says that they are selling something but "its in the wash" or "she's wearing it right now so I can't get a pic" I"ll never buy. IMO once its for sale, it shouldn't be used anymore. It could not be stained right now and then when the kid poops in it it could be.That's just my 2 cents. Once I post an item for sale it never gets worn again.
10) if you have pets, say it. Some people are very allergic and can't get a diaper from a home w/ cats, etc. If you smoke, say it.

I hope this isn't snarky to you mama! Its just stuff I"ve been noticing a lot lately w/ all the influx of new sellers due to Ebay not allowing CD sales and I think people are getting frustrated w/ some stuff! Good luck!!
