I just started cding and my baby has an aweful rash. I am using prefolds and covers. I first washed them with tide and then all free and clear. I read this on the internet. My baby has very sensitive skin.
Am I going to be able to use prefolds, did I pick the wrong detergent, or did I just leave her in the diaper to long????? What is the BEST ointment for diaper rash if your baby has sensitive skin?? I would appreciate any advice as I am new to cloth diapering! I am trying so hard, I quit disposibles cold turkey... |

Re: Detergent causing rash?!?!?
Try adding another rinse to your wash routine to see if that helps. I always do extra rinses on everything because my oldest ds is super sensitive. I use Allen's Naturally detergent for cds and it rinses out easily for me. I know other people use all free and clear with no problems. Good Luck
