Should I cut DS hair?

He's only 4 months but has extrememly wild and crazy hair and it's getting kind of long. You can click on the thumbnails to make them bigger.

I'd cut the back to ensure he doesn't have a mullet and only cut the top/front/sides if it was bothering him, like tickling his ears or getting in his face.

Re: Should I cut DS hair?

Awww... he's a doll! I wouldn't.. But i didn't cut my ds's hair till after his first birthday... just couldn't bring myself to do it. Even then, i only had the edges cleaned up a bit... I kinda like longer hair on boys... plus, once he starts growin a bit bigger, it'll seem like it fits more, kwim? GL in your decision though mama!

The only reason I'm thinkin gbaout cutting it is because it sticks straight up ion the top of his head. There isn't a way to get it down. Any suggestions?

Have you tried putting a hat on for a little while? My dd had hair that stuck up like that - Mohawk is not exactly what you want with a girl but I was glad she had hair, eventually we did a ponytail like Pebbles

NO! But I'm superstitious and believe you shouldn't cut baby's hair before a year old.

I'm not cutting my guys hair at all for a few years.

I tried hats. I tried the baby oil gel and nothing seems to work. He looks like a little peacock
