Re: Should I cut DS hair?

How cute. My DD had tons of hair too but she was a girl so it was ok with her. I would just put a little hat on her or put it in litle ponytails.

I think it's totally up to you, mama! He sure is adorable. My DS has the same problem...except he's a cotton-top and looks like a dandelion blowing in the wind. And I LOVE it I might only cut the back if it gets too long only because I'm not a fan of the mullet

Re: Should I cut DS hair?

Nope. I cut my first son's hair at 4 months old, it was to his shoulders and beautiful, and regretted it after. My husband didn't like everyone thinking he was a girl, even though we dressed him in completely boy clothes all the time. I'm talking plaid flannel and denim!! My second son's hair stuck up just like that and it still does when it's too short, so he keeps it a little longer. So did my second daughter's. I don't know about now because she keeps it really long. Anyway, when I look back at the pictures it just melts my heart to see their cute wild hair sticking up everywhere. Precious

I said no but if it's causing you more work than anything by trying to keep it neat or under control, you shouldn't feel bad about cutting it. Sure it's really cute long, but I'm sure he would be equally cute with less hair

I would. But again, I shaved my DS's head since he's a week old. Now he has a soldier short hair. I like it that way. DH cuts his hair once a month and normally very short and just leave a bit (like 1cm) on the top so we can do spiking style if we want to. It fits him really well, I think.

Don't cut it. My ds has thicker hair than your ds but was about that long or longer at 4 months. From 3 kids with tons of hair, i have to tell you as it grows the weight will hold it down. Its cute leave it be.

It depends on how you want his hairstyle to eventually be. Crew cut, a little unruly and shaggy (like sahminaz's son), spikey, shoulder length? I've always wanted a stick up hair baby so whatever you do I wouldn't cut the top.
