sleep advice

I know I can't complain...DD goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 and goes straight through to 5 or 6 and sometimes 7am...in her crib...

but I'm having nap troubles...

I put her in crib...she'll sleep for 30 minutes (exactally) then is awake...but still tired...I can rock her back to sleep, but she won't go back to sleep in her crib...i let her finish her naps in the swing

She'll also nap in bed with me...

so how can I get her into her crib for naps?

She likes to stretch a LOT and she can't get a good stretch in her swing LOL

we do not cio...so other advice is welcome

Well, we only did CIO with our kids. So, I guess you don't want to hear from me. But for us, CIO was tough for only a few days. After that, they knew that they needed to nap (talk about quick learners!). But they also napped a lot in the swing when they're very little. Maybe you can put a swing in her room?
Good luck!

fwiw, Emerson was a preemie and has a sensitive nervous system...CIO isn't usually recommended for preemies for this reason

Re: sleep advice

What you might want to try is letting your baby sleep in your bed (unless you have a super squishy matress). Put you LO down for the second time with you in the bed then when she is asleep get up and go about your business. If your getting up out of bed wakes her up the only thing that I can say is that I am sure she will grow out of it.

Re: sleep advice

Sorry I can't help, just sympathize. My ds is 6 1/2 months and still is a champ at the 30 minute nap in his crib (we cosleep at night).
