okay, okay... i have to ask!

Im 17 weeks pregnant and craving BEER like no one's business.... can I have a non-alcoholic beer?

i think they are something like .6% alcohol, right? I just dont know what else to do to calm this craving, its seriously bad, and i dont even really LIKE beer!

Believe me, i havent even had 1 drink since BEFORE i ovulated to get pregnant with this kid, lol... but is this something i might be able to have to get rid of this craving?

non alcoholic beer is fine, btdt, and my dr told me craving beer was a sign of needing protein and iron. I guess its true it is a porkchop in a bottle!

I think non-alc beer should be fine as long as your not going to chug a case or something, lol.

Not to totally derail this thread, but pregnant women do have a very increased need for protein, like around 50grams. I think eggs are around 5 grams, right? I was all about getting lots of protein w/ DD, lots of beans, cottage cheese, regular cheese, yogurt, chicken and beef, and even protein smoothies.

well, i honestly dont remember how much protein is in an egg (stupid expensive degree, lol) but an egg is perfect protein-- there is absolutely 100& no better complete protein than an egg, lol.

I do get more protein that that, but it was just an example its not the ONLY protein I get or the only thing I eat.
