Selling Dipes

I've bought a ton of dipes off of the FSOT, but I haven't sold any yet. I think I want to sell a few of the dipes that we just don't use, but I'm not sure how to do it. Do I have to set up a seperate pp account than the one I use to pay with? I know I need to take good pics with clear descriptions. How do I ship? I'm guessing I need to buy DC, but do I need to buy ins.?

Any tips would be appreciated!! I've never sold ANYTHING online before, and I want to do it right.

Yes, always get DC - it protects you. If the buyer wants ins then usually that is extra b/c that protects them

You can use the one you buy with. also, you can ship through Paypal if you have a postal scale at home. It automatically includes DC for purchases. It's much easier that way. If you don't have a scale at home I would get DC at the PO just in case.

I don't want to sound dumb, but what kind of envelopes do I get to mail dipes in? So far, I'm only selling things like fitteds and inserts. Do I ship standard or something else?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Selling Dipes

Most of the time diapers are light enough to go first class if it is just one or two. I pack in whatever I have available often I put things in a ziploc and then I wrap them in part of a paper grocery sack. Use the same paypal account that you already have it will accept funded payments with no fees.

You can also get polymailers cheap from a few places online. Or you can do the manila envelopes you can get from places like Walmart.
