God in heaven!--tell me it's not AF
Okay...exclusive breastfeeder here of a 6-week-old. ONLY 6 weeks old. I've been exhausted and then I got a headache yesterday...didn't think much of it. Then this morning I woke up crampy...and SPOTTING. Noooooooooooooooo!
It's impossible...isn't it? I got AF at 6 weeks PP with my first son, but I was only nursing him part time. Half the day he was getting bottles at daycare. DS #2 was bottle and I got it at 5 weeks PP. Again, no-brainer...he was not breastfeeding. Okay, so what's my body's excuse this time????????

Re: God in heaven!--tell me it's not AF
I know several women that were EBF all day and night that had AF return around 2 months. Sorry you are dealing with this so soon.

Re: God in heaven!--tell me it's not AF
Yeah, it happens to a lot of us
I was totally expecting it though, because it happens to all bf women in my family. Sorry

Man, I thought I was unlucky! With all three of my boys, AF returned at 6mo pp. I'm crossing my fingers this time... Eliana is 6.5mo...

Re: God in heaven!--tell me it's not AF
This happened to my mom, I always wondered how you would know the difference between PPD bleeding and a new AF...but I guess you guys didn't bleed as long as me.

Re: God in heaven!--tell me it's not AF
I have had Aunt Flo arrive at 6 wks post partum with each of my kids and I nursed all of my kids.
With my second, she arrived the day of my 6 wk post partum check up with my MW. She seems a gazillion times worse than usual when you are caring for a newborn.
