solids question
my dd is 7 months old and up until now has been ebf, never even had a bottle. she seems to have no interest in food what-so-ever, she even gags when i try.
she is interested in what i eat though and i know that wouldn't be good for her lil tummy. so my question is, should i continue trying? or should i wait?Mary

Re: solids question
i would probably wait if it was me. i'm assuming she's having trouble w/ gagging even on really pureed stuff....if not then maybe try grinding her food up even more. maybe something like one of those baby safe feeders that would let her control the amount a bit more.

Re: solids question
If you are already trying the 1st foods...the puree's but haven't tried the second stage single ingredient, some babies gag on the thinner stuff and like a bit of a thicker texture. You could give that a try.

Re: solids question
it's more like she makes herself gag.
she does it with runny and thick. she does well w/ a fozen bm ice cube in the mesh feeder but she isn't interested in anything else in it.
