Flossing kids teeth

When did you start to floss your kids teeth? My DD is 22 months, and I've never done it before I noticed today that her teeth needed to be flossed, so I attempted it, but as much as she tried to cooperate, it just didn't work. I need to go get some of those floss on a stick things.

Re: Flossing kids teeth

I floss my DD's teeth and she is 3 and I floss my DS's teeth he is 18 months. I have done it for about 6 months, I do it every other day or so. We turn it into a laughing fest from knocking each other over while trying to do, to just plain mom's got her whole hand in your mouth type thing. We always floss in the great room because there is carpet and no sharp objects. I figure they are young and these are still baby teeth so if I don't get all of them in one day I will mostlikley catch them the next time, and they brush really often.
