Re: How do I move my son to crib after nursing him to sleep?

what we have done is put the crib against the wall and then our bed is pushed up against it. so at night we nurse to sleep in our bed and he stays there until we go to be around midnight and i just pick him up and scoot him over.

ds is NOT a wiggle worm YET! but when i leave him in our bed i always put pillow around him!

oh i feel for you!! i am working on dd2 now so we don't have these same concerns again, like with dd1. try all kinds of different sleep associations, many that other mamas have mentioned are good. look for the book "no cry sleep solution" by elizabeth pantley. try singing as you nurse and lay down, rubbing back, gently unlatching as nursing slows...NCSS has great info. get it!

Yes, I'm trying out the cloth again. Maybe I should stick with it this time.

Re: How do I move my son to crib after nursing him to sleep?

Thanks mamas, some great tips...I just got him down tonight after nursinng on the bed, but he had an extra long day today...We are just transitioning right now so I think it's been a bit rough for him...I think we are trying to get through at least the first leg of the night in his crib, we still co sleep but he's too wiggly and frankly takes up too much space fo rus to give him more than a year on that

I haven't used a pacifier yet, cause he isn't too fussy, but he has spit them out on the occassions when I have tried them
