Last night I went to an essential oils presentation and was gone for almost 4 hours!!! Dh stayed with the girls.
So usually he is not the best at being attentive, he sort of plops them in front of the TV and throws some food their way Well last night, he actually fed Amira some fruit, cheese and noodles for dinner as opposed to the usual graham crackers and goldfish crackers. Celeste also said he played with them and they had fun! He also wore Amira on his back for a while which he never does and put her to sleep that way! AND as if that wasnt enough of a break through he even put a cloth diaper on both of the girls for overnight, which he usually uses sposies for Oh and he has even gotten better about spraying the poop off w/the diapers sprayer and then putting them in the pail. He used to leave the diaps poop and all on the floor until I found them hey I do these thing everyday, and sure its babysteps for dh, but it seems I am rubbing off on him! LOL! A little bit at a time...

Doesnt it feel awesome when you rub off on your hubby? I know, the first time my dh asked for a "real" diaper (and meant cloth) I almost fainted.
Its a wonderful feeling.

Good for your DH!!! Exciting! I know what you mean about throwing food at the kids. Whenever I come home after any longish period of time, the baby is in his high chair drowning in food. I guess when he fusses, DH just keeps giving him different types of food

Good for your DH! Mine is great about most things (and even wears DS in the Maya wrap when he wants to play video games), but lately he's been on this disposable wipes kick. I guess I can't complain too much since it's basically the only thing he goes against me on.

That's wonderful!!! You should do a little something nice for him to show him your appreciation.
My DH is a dimwit. I asked him to put diaper rash cream on DS's butt the other day and he asked me to 'walk him through it.' Let me just point out that our son is a year old!!! All you do it put the cream on the red spots and put a diaper on, it isn't hard!!! *Anyway* lleyes2:
