What stitch should I use?

I am going to make wipes out of white flannel and I don't have a serger. I really don't want to turn and top stitch. Here is a pic of all of my stitches I have avaliable which one should I use?

#8 the brown one not the red one is like an overlock zig-zag or you can just do a reg zig zag #3 or #4

But make sure you sew on the VERY edge. My machine has a foot for it. If you zig zag you may wanna go back and trim off the extra.

I use one that looks like your brown #8 but here's a tip:

Buy a seam blocker. Sew the wipey, cut (if necessary) as close to the stitching as possible, apply the seam blocker and wash a few times. You may still notice slight fraying, but after a few washes and trimmings, that all stops. Another thing you can do is hem or roll hem the edges.

I use the seam blocker and it works great. Make sure to get the one that dries soft though.
