I'm not sure. I thought polyester wouldn't really hold typical dyes, but you can dye BGs, so... Maybe another momma will know.

Re: Can you dye BSWW?

I just dyed my BSWW tonight using Dylon dye. Tonight I was using the lime color.. and it didn't hold very well... HOWEVER... last week I used the turqoiuse color and it held (is holding) quite nicely..although it makes more of a pastel color rather than a bold color. I'm thinking my problem tonight was that I had too much water/too many prefolds in the batch.

Now.. my prowraps dye beautifully with Dylon.

You might be able to use Dharmas acid dyes to get a bright color, I would check the website first. That is the only thought I have

Re: Can you dye BSWW?

Dharma dyes didn't work for me when I tried. My cover came out a pale pink and then the dye rinsed right off!

Re: Can you dye BSWW?

I think you can dye the original bummis, they're nylon. I think you can even use kool-aid on them. For the BSWW you might have to content yourself with fabric paint. There was a thread on here where someone decorated their white FBs.
Good luck.
