Re: Tell me about fleece and wool

not stupid!

in my experience fleece leaked and wool hasn't really. Of course its what they call a compression leak not a leak like out the side of the leg
which just means it can get things slightly damp if the diaper is wet (imo with wool) or quite wet imo with fleece. With wool I haven't had to change any outfits but i did with fleece.
i hardly tried any fleece so someone is out there more qualified to answer about it
wool actually absorbs some of the liquid too. But i do suggest changing the diaper when it gets wet instead of soaked

If you get fleece like winpro or windblock, that is treated to stop leaks. They are still possible, but a lot less likely. And of course Malden Mills fleece is the standard with diapers because it has a dense weave and it doesn't disfigure after washing.

Re: Tell me about fleece and wool

They both are breathable. As long as the diaper underneath is a good one then I have no leaking with either. Fleece is easy care. Just regular wash and dry, no special techniques required. Wool is a bit more detailed for care, but doesn't require washing very often. Anyways I like and have both options!
